 | What on Earth Is to Be Done? ( 116k PDF file )
Written by Dave Cook, this document was important in the formation of the Green Socialist Network. Dave was a founding member of the GSN, which joined with the Left Alliance to form the Alliance for Green Socialism. Dave was an important and critical member of the Communist Party, the leader of the Young Communist League in Leeds, and rose to be a national organiser of the Communist Party. In the subsequent splits and conflicts of that organisation he sought to turn his comrades towards questions of the environment. Dave was tragically killed in a traffic accident in Turkey. What on Earth Is to Be Done? is republished by kind permission of Pat Devine of the Red Green Study Group.
